Stephanie is incredibly passionate about music, singing and the joy it brings to others. She has a BA in English and Music from the University of Southampton, and has been a self-employed musician for nearly 10 years. She has worked across Hamsphire (and sometimes futher afield), and has worked in many different creative areas including higher education courses, private singing teaching, choir leading, youth theatre workshops and musical theatre writing.

Most recently her work has been focussed on community choirs, health singing groups and writing original musicals.

She accidentally stumbled into choir leading in 2016 and hasn't once looked back. She fell in love with running choirs, creating beautiful harmonies and working with such an incredible variety of people who each have different experiences with their voice, different skillsets and different musical tastes - but who all come together for the love of singing. Her singers continue to inspire and challenge her, and she's grateful to be able to share her love for music in such a joyful and rewarding way.

She currently runs 5 choirs in the Southampton area, as far as Lee-on-the-Solent and Gosport, including a health choir in Bitterene. Choirs have been proven to be hugely benefical for wellbeing, socialising and for many health conditions, and she has become increasing more interested in the connection between voice, health, and wellbeing - she is even writing a musical about the wonders of community singing, which is based on real testimonies from singers.

Alongside her work as a choir leader, Stephanie is also a composer and lyricist, specialising in creating original musicals. Every since she can remember, she has always written poems and stories, so when she becan to learn the piano as a  child, she started to combine her poems and stories with her music. She studied English and Music at University, writing her first full muscial for her final year dissertation.

She has written several musicals since then, gradually learning and honing her craft, and collaborating with lots of different writers. She has been in a successful, award-winning writing partnership 'Amies & Clements' since 2013, had commissions from professional commercial companies (Mayflower Theatre, British Youth Musical theatre), has been awarded Arts Council Funding for her work and is currently a Propel Artist at MAST Mayflower Studios.

Stephanie is also a vocal coach - most recently working with the Third year students at the University of Winchester, a part-time musical director for Carnival UK, a singer for the band Dotty and the Vinyls and a member of ACJ Productions.

When she is not doing something music or theatre related she loves baking and walking in areas of natural beauty - especially mountains and lakes.
